Common questions

Why aren't messages from my contacts filtered?
iOS only sends messages from unknown senders to SMS filters. Messages from your contacts and iMessage are never passed to the app — this is an Apple limitation we cannot change.

A scam got through / a real message was filtered.
Open the Report tab and paste the message. We use reports to improve the rules for everyone. Pull down on the Protection screen to fetch the latest rules.

Are my messages sent anywhere?
No. Filtering happens on your device. The only data that leaves your phone is a message you choose to report. See our Privacy Policy.
